Join us on one of the most profound and soulful journeys of the year — an eleven-day experience in the homeland of meditation and yoga. Together with Magnus Fridh, we will immerse ourselves in mindfulness, breathwork, and Hatha yoga, at a calm pace and with no prior experience required. Each day includes guided meditations, yoga, and quiet exercises that bring inner clarity and recovery.
The journey begins in Kathmandu, where we will encounter the city's sacred sites, colors, and scents. On the very first day, we will experience healing bowl therapy and a thangka painting class, before concluding with a gentle meditation.
Following this, two days await at the mythical Namobuddha Monastery, where we will stay with the monks, participate in evening prayers, morning yoga, Buddhist lectures, and ceremonies at the sacred stupa. Here, with views of the Himalayas, we will experience the original home of meditation.
Next, we travel to Nagarkot, 2,170 meters above sea level, where the sunrise over the Langtang massif creates perfect conditions for morning yoga on the rooftop terrace. We then hike through Nepal's countryside to the historic village of Sankhu and experience the daily life of the local population.
In Kathmandu, we conclude with two days of culture and colors: visits to Thamel, the old town, Durbar Square — and the magical festival of Holi, where color, joy, and music fill the streets. We also visit Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath, and medieval Bhaktapur before the trip concludes with walking meditation at the great stupa in Boudha.
This is a trip for those who want to find their way back to tranquility, expand their presence, and bring some of the clarity of the Himalayas home with them. Download the prospectus for the entire trip here >>
